Warrnambool, with a population of 33,500, is the regional centre of South West Victoria. Nestled by the beautiful Southern Ocean the city offers the successful candidate an outstanding lifestyle, services and facilities.

Council is now seeking a suitably experienced and qualified coordinator to take on the payroll function and maintenance.

·         Coordinate and oversee the preparation and processing of staff salary and wages

·         Identify and implement process improvement initiatives

·         Provision of expert advice to managers and employees on payroll matters

·         Oversee and support all tasks associated with end of financial year payroll’

Council has a diverse workforce of over 600 staff (approx. 400 FTE) and the successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll. It presents an opportunity to influence the strategic and operational direction of the Remuneration and Benefits function within Council whilst working in a supportive environment.

An attractive salary package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
