Acacia paradoxa

A fast growing dense spreading shrub with oblong to narrow dark green leaves  and a spreading pair of thorns at the base of the leaves. It has large golden yellow flower balls from August to November. This shrub grows in dry to moist well drained soils in full sun to semi shade. It is highly ornamental in the garden and an excellent refuge for birds.
